FOUNDER - E. Wayne Kirk

E Wayne Kirk

E. Wayne Kirk, CPA, CVA was a founding partner in Trinity Valuation Consulting Group, PLC.  He had been a Certified Public Accountant since 1974 and had been actively involved with the valuation of companies since 1990 through 2025.  Mr. Kirk had over 40 years of experience in the healthcare industry. He also had experience in capital structure and sourcing, growth/exit strategies and creative transactional concepts.

Prior to joining Trinity, Mr. Kirk was the managing partner of Business Valuations & Consulting and was the co-founder of Kirk & Fortner, CPAs.  He is very active in the community and currently resides on the Board of Directors for Wellmont Health System and the Board of Directors for Eastman Credit Union. 

In addition to being a Certified Public Accountant, Mr. Kirk was a Certified Valuation Analyst and iwas involved in a number of professional organizations including:

  • Member – American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA)
  • Member – Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA)
  • Member (former) – Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants (VSCPA)
  • Member – National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA)

Mr. Kirk was a native of Southwest Virginia and had lived in East Tennessee since 1974. 

Mr. Kirk's death in 2025 was a huge loss not only to Trinity, the loss was felt by many throughout the region.

Jeffrey (Jeff) Kirk, is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in business valuation, operations, and organizational leadership. His background includes work across multiple industries and markets, with roles spanning Alabama, Tennessee, Texas, Georgia, and Virginia.

Jeffrey brings a modern, multidisciplinary skill set to Trinity, including:

  • Business valuation and operational leadership experience developed through executive roles and consulting engagements
  • Advanced professional training, including certifications in Agile project management, HR information systems, organizational change, and artificial intelligence management
  • A strong commitment to community leadership, demonstrated through years of service on educational, youth development, and nonprofit boards

Jeffrey has also been active in thought leadership, publishing articles on business strategy, technology, and organizational development, reflecting a forward‑thinking approach that complements Trinity’s established technical foundation.
